MurieL

Born and Raised in Oak Cliff, Texas, MurieL was born into a rich Tex-Mex culture which reflects on her music. Possessing a captivating voice and a style that merges vintage charm with  contemporary flair, MurieL seeks to connect with her audience with heartfelt homage to influential artists like Selena, Carla  Morrison, Madonna, and Juan Gabriel, icons whose impact is woven into the very essence of her music.

As a singer and songwriter, MurieL is committed to crafting songs that reflect an independent woman’s life—her dreams, struggles, triumphs, love and heartbreak. Her dedication has led her to collaborate with renowned talents, including Edgar Rodríguez, a music producer in  Los Angeles, celebrated for his work with  artists like Natanael Cano, Thalia and Jenni Rivera. These  collaborations have  enriched her sound, adding depth and an authentic and organic LA sound into “the mix”.

MurieL’s energetic spirit and magnetic presence are already making waves, marking her as a promising and refreshing voice in today’s music scene.

Muriel’s second single of the year, Perdón, is a captivating blend of Indie Folk Pop with subtle Country influences. Inspired in a Mexican hotel room after a rough day, the song sensitively  explores mistakes in romantic relationships. Co-written with Rodolfo Pineda in Mexico City, its raw emotion is amplified by a music video shot in the stunning deserts of Southern California.
